Four years. It's seems like just yesterday that we were exchanging vows as a bee buzzed around inside my veil, threatening to leave a welt on my forehead on our perfect day. But we survived the bee, and we've survived much worse than that. Last year I nearly lost you when you became horribly ill. This year brought its share of challenges, too.

Still—throughout it all, I know this:

- You are my best friend.

- I always get excited when I see your truck pull up at the end of the day (and so does Vivi, for that matter).

- Somehow, we still never run out of things to talk about.

- You still make me laugh.
- We created sheer perfection and joy with Vivienne.

I'm wildly proud of all we've accomplished—and survived— throughout our marriage, and I love experiencing this journey with you.
